2008 Merlot

This is our first varietal Merlot since 2005. The 2008 vintage provided what I believe to be the best components for this incredibly complex 100% Merlot. Still a baby at this point, the nose has flinty, smoky and mocha tones. The tannins are young and complex wrapping themselves around a massive core of classic Merlot notes: black cherry, currant, blackberry and spice, with a smooth chocolaty aftertaste. Let this one breath for a few hours and see the amazing potential of this wine. This wine will sell out very fast! Purchase online.
