2008 Sauvignon Blanc

This vintage is a return to our popular 2006 style which combines fruit from two special vineyards. Artz Vineyard on Red Mountain is in a warmer region infusing the grapes with wonderful full bodied tropical tones. While Stillwater Creek Vineyard is a cooler climate giving the wine more classic notes such as grapefruit, green apple, and star anise. Together they make a wonderful combination!

With cooler temperatures and two extra weeks on the vine, the 2008 Sauvignon Blanc harvest was incredible! This wine has an explosive nose of apples and honeysuckle and a perfectly balanced palate with great mouthfeel and complementing acidity. With a slight note of white peaches and nectarines followed by a smooth refreshing finish, this wine will pair perfectly with a variety of seafood or your favorite cheese.
