2006 Little Bear Creek
Our third release of Little Bear Creek runs with a more fruit-intense style borrowing from the Syrah lots. This gives our “tons of bang for the buck” wine the best flavor ever! A great balance of fruit and tannin gives this wine immediate appeal and allows it to age nicely for the next five years. Great as an “everyday” wine or trick your friends into thinking they are drinking something more expensive.

Stephan Tanzer ~ 87 points "Bright ruby-red. Dark berries, tar, herbs and licorice pastille on the nose. Supple and on the soft side, with dark plum and sweet oak flavors joined by a leafy cabernet franc note. A bit blacker in its fruit character than the '05. The juicy finish features more acids than tannins."
